Concomitant Meds Navigator V2 Now Available

We are pleased to announce the V2 release of the Concomitant Meds Navigator, following the initial V1 release last fall.

V2 brings expanded characteristic coverage, including a new characteristic for weakly sensitive substrates, expanded coverage on transporter data, and enhanced regulatory flags to help users more efficiently identify and evaluate relevant concomitant medications.

What’s New in V2?

  • New “weakly sensitive substrate” characteristic
A new characteristic has been added, with 250+ compounds identified as weakly sensitive substrates of CYP1A2, CYP2D6, and CYP3A.
  • Clinical relevance for weakly sensitive substrates
For compounds classified as weakly sensitive substrates, clinical significance is provided in the “Characteristic comments” column when available, helping users better interpret the potential clinical relevance of these classifications.
  • Expanded characteristic coverage
V2 now includes nearly 2,500 characteristics, representing 500+ additional characteristics compared to V1.
  • Enantiomers (for racemate) and active moiety (for prodrug) data added when relevant.
  • “Date added” column
A “Date added” column is available, making it easier to identify and track recently added characteristics.
  • Enhanced regulatory flags
The Navigator flags FDA clinical index drugs, ICH clinical index drugs, and drugs with an FDA pharmacogenetic label, allowing users to quickly identify these categories.

We hope these enhancements make the Concomitant Meds Navigator even more useful for identifying, reviewing, and prioritizing concomitant medications in clinical development and DDI assessment.
